Skip to content Current owner – Dan grew up in Portland Oregon, I worked at my families Lasertag arena and resteraunt where I learned the value of customer service and being a part of the community. After graduating college with a degree in economics I played and coached a year of American Football in Cottbus Germany. After returning to the states I joined Tesla’s solar division in Las Vegas Nevada. After ten years in the solar industry I wanted to take an opportunity to work in the local community again. I loved Capital of Texas’ nearly 20 year history of customer service and craftsmanship.
Christina has over a decade of customer service experience in the restaurant industry, from working at starbucks while studying Civil Engineering at UNLV to working on the strip of Las Vegas where impeccable customer service is the standard. She founded a Jewelry business and grew sales with social media and a reputation for long lasting craftsmanship and customer service. In 2021 we moved to Texas on a small farm, she raises Highland Cows and homeschools our 4 kids.
Our commitment to the community is to provide a focus on customer experience and craftsmanship.
The business started running up to market crash of 2008. The previous owner had been a mortgage broker previously and his wife worked for Fema (she actually just retired) supporting people recovering from storms. He had a friend who did commercial roofing show him how to put a bid together for residential roofing and he started going door to door after storms. Fast forward 17 years and the business is the oldest running roofing business in Bastrop. He is a staple in the community and an active member in the rotary club and the chamber of commerce. One of the stories that stands out about the company that the team has shared while the old owner Rick had the business comes to mind. There was a customer who we replaced the siding for. She became upset afterwards stating that fleas were in her house and she blamed us. Although the claim was dubious at best, Rick wanted her to be happy with the project and coordinated for her house to be sprayed. Ensuring the customer was happy. The team will take on smaller projects that dont bring in any real revenue but solve a problem for the customer. I want this type of focus on customer satisfaction / experience to continue in my tenure.
